Milford Sound is a must see when you are visiting the Queenstown Lakes District area, Fiordland is a hop skip and a jump from Queenstown and the sights along the way are breath taking and unique. Travel through the Homer Tunnel to the expanse of the Milford Sound.
Milford Sound is a fair drive from Queenstown and we recommend you take your time. So hire a car for $55 per day, travel to Te Anau on day one and visit Lake Manapouri, stay the night and visit Milford Sound on the third day.
